Item Description:
Pink Iridescent blown glass egg. A depressed diamond pattern textures the surface of this Art Glass piece. The pontil mark is visible on this piece.
This pattern is also referred to by the number of ribs that run
vertically along the glass's surface.
This style is referred to as Pitkin Type and was made in the Midwest
around 1800 to 1830 as well as New England from around 1783 to 1830.
